How often should I get a massage?

Ever wonder how often you should receive a massage?

The answer is not the same for every body.

Frequency of massage therapy is dependent on what sort of issues you are currently experiencing, what you are aiming to accomplish, what sort of injuries you may have and other health factors.

A general guideline if receiving for stress and moderate pain and tension relief is to receive a massage every 4-6 weeks.

If you have severe chronic pain that you are looking to reduce with massage therapy, we may suggest coming every 1-2 weeks for a 1-3 months until you are noticing a drastic difference.

Then, once your body has responded well to the therapy, we can space out the visits to monthly or maybe even longer.

⬆️ This suggestion also applies to those looking to correct poor posture holding patterns such as forward head posture, an over arched low back or tension that is worse on one side of the back.

With postural issues, we recommend strengthening weak muscles affected by the poor postural patterns, along with massage therapy in order to get lasting results.

💡We help release the stuck areas, and you strengthen the weak areas to regain balance in your body.

Massage therapy can be transformative for those who live with chronic pain if they stay consistent with frequency recommendations and do the work in between therapy appointments to keep tension at bay and gain strength!

If you’re experiencing chronic pain, stress, or poor posture, we would love to help!
